Enhance Business Efficiencies with the Supply & Fit Partner Program

Established in 2017, the Optique Line Supply & Fit Partner Program has been a game-changer for independent optometrists in Australia and New Zealand. With a focus on enhancing business productivity and customer satisfaction, this program provides a robust support system for retailers, this year we are refreshing the program and including more benefits to our members. Leah Meulendijks, Owner and Director of Yarra Junction Optical and Kay Street Eyecare, shares her experiences and the benefits she has gained from being a long-standing member of the Partner Program.

The tiered system of the Optique Line Partner Program offers a range of benefits designed to help businesses establish a competitive edge. These benefits include extended trading terms, stock optimisation, marketing support, training, and business development initiatives. Leah Meulendijks highlights,

The Partner Program has helped me maximise cash flow by minimising freight expenses, allowing the rotation of older stock for new on a 1:1 basis, and reducing inventory holding by keeping frames on display.

The quality of Optique Line frames such as Stepper has helped us to grow our business through word of mouth. Our customers really appreciate the quality of the products they purchase from us and go on to tell their friends and family, Leah says.

Wholesaling for over thirty years, Optique Line’s direct buying power from manufacturers ensures competitively priced eyewear, allowing independent retailers to maintain healthy margins while competing against larger corporate entities. Brands like Stepper Eyewear, Aiko Eyewear and Convertibles have become industry benchmarks for their functionality, fashion-forward designs, and outstanding fit, offering over 300 styles to choose from.

The Supply & Fit service is another significant benefit, ensuring that display stock remains on display for customers. With well-maintained stock levels across all brands, Optique Line guarantees overnight delivery to your lab of choice or directly to your store. Leah explains, “My staff love the Supply & Fit option. It saves us time and money. If we use a frame in-store, we fit the lenses ourselves, but with Supply and Fit, the job arrives completely fitted, allowing staff more time to complete meaningful tasks.”

Additionally, the program includes a complimentary quarterly or half-yearly range review conducted by your Optique Line Account Manager. Leah appreciates this service, stating, “Our range is updated every 3-6 months, and we have been very pleased with the results. Our frame range always consists of the latest models, and we quickly sell on anything that doesn’t move.”

When asked about her overall experience with the Optique Line Partner Program, Leah Meulendijks confidently states, “There’s nothing not to like about it!” This endorsement underscores the value and efficiency the program brings to independent optometry practices, helping them thrive in a competitive market.
